Songs and worship
Type a song name and Aria fetches the lyrics and lays them out as finished slides.
Adding a song
- Open the worship lyrics screen from the console.
- Type the song's name and search. Aria fetches the complete lyrics.
- Aria works out the structure by itself and labels each part: Verse 1, Chorus, Verse 2, Bridge. It does this even when the source text has no labels, by recognising the block that repeats as the chorus.
- The whole song arrives as finished slides. Change how many lines each slide holds if you want to, or edit the words in place.
Preparing a set before Sunday
Build the setlist in the order you will sing it. Each song keeps its own layout and background, so the prep that used to mean typing lyrics, splitting them into slides and choosing a background for each one is now naming the song and checking the result.
Letting the lyrics follow the singing
Turn on Follow the Singer and choose the microphone. The slides then advance by themselves as the song is sung. Manual hands control back to you at any point.
How the words are shown
| Layout | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Slides | The normal layout, a few lines at a time. |
| Teleprompter | A scrolling view for the person leading. |
| Single line | One line at a time, for a tight screen. |
Backgrounds can be a solid colour, an image, or something that moves behind the words.
Bringing in songs you already have
An existing library can be imported, and songs can be pulled straight from CCLI SongSelect if your church subscribes. See Planning Center and SongSelect.
CCLI reporting
Aria records what was actually shown and fills in your CCLI report from it, rather than asking anyone to remember afterwards.
